Is it a good time to consider a new boiler?
I often get asked about boiler replacement from my existing customer. If your boiler is getting on a bit, perhaps approaching 10 years old or so, you really would benefit from replacing your boiler system with a modern, condensing combi (combination) or conventional boiler.

Do I need a Powerflush?
You may be experiencing cooler spots at the lower section of your radiators and may require venting more frequently. These are some of the tell tale signs that black sludge (or debris) has been building up within your central heating system.
This black magnatite can restrict the flow of your central heating system and reduce the heat output of your rads. It can also reduce the efficiency of your boiler. Powerflushing involves running a cleaning agent through your central heating system via a specialist pump and through powerful magnets to remove the unwanted sludge. Powerflushing isnt expensive to perform – consider the benefits of lower bills and improved overall performance of your heating system.
